Stuff I'll miss:
--China Wok (got us through many a birthday, anniversary, and Valentine's Day...when you have four small kids, inexpensive Chinese take-out is the way to go!)
--Andy, Jeannett and Henry Gibson (dear friends, wonderful people with huge hearts, keep you laughing, have always been there for us. Oh how I'll miss them!)
--Our little street and house (so many memories...good thing we're not selling, otherwise I'd be a bigger basketcase than I already am...I brought all four of my babies home to this house, people!)
Stuff I WON'T miss:
--Round-a-bouts (does ANYone besides me know how to use these?!)
--WalMart (good for some high blood-pressure and all-around general rage)
--FoodMaxx on Sunday nights (see above)
--Pediatrician's office (waiting 2 hours for your SCHEDULED appointment with twin 2 year olds...never being able to get in...good times)

Ha ha, i bet they'll have some great Chinese places in Denver too. :) I definitely understand the nostalgia of you leaving your "first home" behind though. Lots of memories there i'm sure!
I'm wondering if you know about a little Mexican restaurant in Santa Maria - i believe it had the word "jalisco" in it? I ate there once a few years ago, loved it, but have no memory of where it was or what it was called!
sarah we LOVE that restaurant! totally authentic. i believe the full name is lo mejor de jalisco or something like that. over on blosser, and it's actually not too far from our casa. :)
Are you thinking there is no Wal Mart in Denver, Brianna? Nice try, thinking you can escape the Big Box! :)
HA penny, i like walmart, just not the santa maria walmart. it is awful, and overcrowded...you'd have to see it to believe it! :)
oh the stories i've heard about you and your s.m. walmart and foodmaxx!
i hate the round-abouts too. they are seriously way too stressful for me!
are you talking about the chinese food place in the mall? i love that place. there was a murder there not too long ago. but i'd still eat there!
i think you made a mistake leaving out how much you are going to miss our mall!! do we need to go shopping there one more time?!
haha kristen i'm laughing out loud! no, not the chinese place in the mall--this one's on broadway, it's a hole in the wall, super sweet owners, and to my knowledge, no fatal stabbings have occurred there! :)
(OH the mall, i think i need to do a post all its own about that one! i like that chinese place too btw, in spite of the murder.)
i kind of like the round-a-bouts. oh, please don't go!
Totally agree with the Walmart and Food MAXX comment. Those places are insane on Sundays!
I hate all Walmart's, even pretty little Caslte Rock's. I swear that they refuse anyone with a high school diploma!
