Today has just been one of those days. No logical reason for it, nothing catastrophic has happened, I just feel blah. Some (okay most probably!) of it is hormones. Some of it has to do with feeling stressed out that my baby is still sideways with less than 3 weeks to go. There's still room for her to turn, but she apparently likes laying this way. Lovely.
Anyway, I thought I'd post this cute picture I took recently of Kaitlyn and Yosef sitting together outside, because it makes me happy. She loves her brothers! Her relationship with Yosef is really, really sweet. He's a great big brother. (And she's an adoring little sister.)
So do you ever have days like this? I feel so unproductive, and aimless, and yucky. I think Anna hit the nail on the head earlier this afternoon when, while upset about something, she tearfully announced, "I feel like I'm in a trashcan!" Sounds about right to me!!! :)
Here's to tomorrow being a brand new day!

Don't fret, Brianna! Bennett was still transverse at 38 weeks and turned on his own. Ellie was breach at 42 weeks and they still were able to turn her so I could have a normal delivery. You just might want to make sure your doctor is comfortable doing a manual version (turning the baby) if the time comes to have that done. Some don't know how so they just want to do an automatic c-section. Pray, pray, pray for that little girl to turn! (We'll be praying too!)
Perhaps your little girl is getting ready to make her appearance??? If she gets here before you mom I would be happy to come watch your kiddos! And yes, I have blah days. Usually every Monday. :)
I hope tomorrow is a better day for you.
Yeah, Anna, you said it! We all feel like we're in a trashcan sometimes. Sweet Little Baby Girl Heldt, please turn so your Mommy has some peace before your arrival!
Sorry for the Oscar the Grouch kind of day at the Heldt house. Hopefully evrything will look a little more rosey tomorrow! 8^)
Oh Samantha that is good to hear! My doctor IS wanting to do a version if the baby won't turn, and I see her on Thursday. She also mentioned (and this is what has me stressed out) that if the baby doesn't want to stay in that position once she moves her, she would move her again and then immediately induce. I don't want to be induced!!! (Though of course it beats a C-section!)
Thanks friends for the sweet comments. Pregnancy is such an emotional roller coaster!
I almost want to take Anna's quote and frame it. Out of the mouths of babes, huh? Hope things go better for you and that Baby H will turn. hugs to you all
Brianna, I wouldn't have her do the version until your due date. It can induce labor or can cause an emergency delivery, so I always think it is better to wait until the baby is ready to be born, and it gives her time to turn if she wants to. Just trust in the Lord and know that you will meet your little baby one way or another :) (i was induced after the doc turned ellie but i was 42 wks!)

Hey Brianna, I've said "hi" before, and I'm still following your blog...I can totally relate about baby's positioning and feeling stressed out about it. I'm due on 10/17 and baby is Footling Breech. I tried the Version this morning. It was painful, but not completely unbearable. Unfortunately my baby girl is quite content where she is.
I hope that yours isn't as stubborn as mine! And like you said, at least she's the 3rd to occupy the space - I hope that helps her!
Good luck!
Michelle
Hi Michelle! i'm sorry your baby is still breech, how frustrating! my doc is pretty confident that the version would work in my case (the doc was able to manually get the baby to go head down just in the office last week w/out much effort--but the baby hasn't remained head down), but i'm hoping to put it off as long as possible. i'm actually headed to the doc's in a few minutes for my 37 week appointment. will you try it again do you think? keep me posted, and good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!
