Brothers

The boys sleep in (separate) twin beds now as opposed to cribs, and this is how I found them during naptime last week, cuddled up sleeping together in the SAME bed! Being an only child I never had siblings, and it's neat seeing the love our kids have for each other. The boys obviously share a special bond, being twins, sharing the same past and the same "story."

And they are such pals these days! They love playing together in their room (when they should be sleeping), laughing together and comforting/hugging/kissing each other when one of them is upset and crying. I hope they are always buddies!

so awesome! this is what i hope for for my boys, even thought they aren't twins. i think having only 13 months between them will be to their benefit. have you started doing jumping jacks to get baby out yet? :)

okay, so there's a typo in there. "thought" instead of "though". what a doof.

Jumping jacks, haha, Kristen you should know that I avoid anything that could be even remotely considered exercise!

I'm betting your boys will have a great connection being that they are so close in age. It's cool to think that Zeb will never remember a time when he didn't have Nehemiah for his brother!

The boys are so cute sleeping together. We know lots of large families where the kids sleep together and LOVE it. A family in our town has adopted like 15 kids or something around that and we have been talking to them lately and were directed to their yahoogroup. Come to find out that they have adopted many (I think 6+) children from Layla House in Ethiopia. Check them out.

maybe that's why they call it a 'twin' bed?? It was meant for two little ones! lisa

Samantha I know them thru our adoption agency's yahoogroup! Not sure if I've ever personally corresponded or not but they post often. (There are lots of families from that group in WA, and many of them are large, as in 10 kids and up. It's great!)

Adorable Brianna!

I have one unrelated question, if you get a chance to answer. Do you know of any good couples oriented books for Christians? I'm not looking for a specific theme, but something that we could read and enjoy together as a couple. Any ideas?

my sister and I used to always sleep together when we were little. Even when we got our own rooms just at the start of high school we wouldn't sleep in them alone, we were always together for a good 6 months. I still sleep with her in her bed when I am home for a visit, and we are in our 20's now!
