I love the pictures of all the kids interacting together. How does Anna do with two younger brothers? We only have one (boy going one two) and we are adopting our second. I just assumed a little boy so he could have a little brother to play with. But every time I come to your blog it makes me want to put "open to gender". Your girls and boys seem to interact so well together. I would love your input :)
hi chatter! congrats on adopting. anna gets along quite well w/ the boys, and they're only 8 mos. younger than her, so really they have more of a "peer" relationship. there's never been any jealousy or vying for our attention, they love each other, it's great! (Obviously there's th occasional squabble over a toy or something.) Of course I was so thrilled to have another baby girl, b/c sisters are pretty great too. :)
If you want to talk more about it or whatever you can email me, briannaheldt@hotmail.com
I love these pictures. My poor Jack cried and cried this morning when his brother and sister headed off to school. I love that the kids love each other so much. Yours clearly have a special bond as well.
I'm a Catholic mama to eight kids ages 9 and under, and wife to one great guy. I'm a lover of Jesus, great books, ethnic food, and thrifting. I am pro-life and pro-adoption. Loving Denver. Missing California. Most days are a whirlwind of babies and sweeping and joy in the little things. In spite of good intentions, I am rarely anywhere on time. Here you can follow my journey to just show up and be present in each and every crumb-filled moment.
