We got to go to our first Colorado Rockies game (well, since we've lived here) last Thursday.
SO FUN! We took the light rail, had lunch downtown where incidentally we ran into a friend (I find it really bizarre that this is by FAR the biggest city/area I've ever lived in and I run into people I know WAY more here than I ever did before), and then headed back for the game. The kids didn't have that great of a time, but they were really well behaved so we had a good time. :) Kaitlyn even took a nap on my lap, which was the sweetest thing!
Kevin also went to his first Bronco's game on Sunday afternoon with a friend, and had a blast.

I made it to a couple of Rockies games on my last visit to Denver. I loved that you can just walk to the stadium from the downtown area. It gave it such a small hometown feel despite the fact the it is a big city.
We loved going to Rockies games. . . we probably went to at least 6-10 every season, and often went to the entire series when the Giants were in town. We even got to go to a playoff game! So much fun . . . I miss it. We went to a Giants game this year and it was a huge ordeal and very pricey.

janee i wish you guys still lived here! and yeah we actually were all able to go to the game (sitting in the rockpile) for $11 total. yeah baby!
