My poem

Roses are red, violets are blue,
I have three kids, each of them two....
and the stomach flu.

I think the highlight of my illness was, while Kevin was at work and I was kneeling in front of the toilet with Anna hovering next to me--no privacy with three toddlers!--Anna proceeded to say very matter of factly, "Don't throw up on my toes, Mommy." Thanks for the tip, Anna!

It has, overall, been a brutal last few weeks for the Heldt clan! Luckily I am about all better, which is good for a number of reasons, including the fact that I am getting stir crazy and tired of killing time watching the ridiculous TV!

Oh you poor thing! That's awful! I have a hard enough time scooping out the dog food when I'm sick, and you still had three little charges...you are officially my hero.

We had the stomach flu over here, too, but thankfully it was pretty short-lived. You are amazing.

Yuck! Aubrey laughs when I throw up! She hasn't realized that it would be gross to get it on her toes yet. I am the only family member that has had a flu shot so far this season. Hopefully Aubrey can hold out until her appointment mid-December. Apparently flu season is the worst in Jan-Feb here. I'm hoping Mike will get one too, but he isn't high priority so I don't think he can get one until later.

I hope you are all well for Turkey eating. I also hope you will be sickness free for the rest of your pregnancy!

AWww, that's rough! I remember when my oldest was just about 1 1/2, all three of us had the flu. All we could think of was how we wished we could call our moms and tell them we needed them to come over and take care of us!

Your poem needs to include the fact that you are pregnant on top of it all, too!

Hang in there
