Then, oftentimes on the weekends (and on the occasional weekday), we'll get the pool set up. All three of our kids LOVE swimming now, especially Yosef. Check out our three little fish:
We've also spent a fair amount of time up at the Creston Pool with my parents, which is where I spent every single summer growing up. It's fun taking my own kids there now! The pool is free, which is sweet, and they have a two-foot deep kiddie pool that we spend the bulk of our time in. Again, Yosef outswims Anna and Bin by far. He just LOVES the pool!
So that's what we've been up to. One of the greatest things about having kids is getting to experience certain things all over again. Summertime gets to feel magical and exciting again (and there's nothing like seeing your children jumping up and down and screeching with delight when you pull out the inflatable pool!)

I love to see outside, summer pics of little ones. So very sweet! I especially love the one of Dad and the boys.
Keep enjoying your summer!
Super cute pictures! I love being outdoors too. I have to admit though, I hate putting sunscreen on Aubrey. I do, but I just hate how thick it is. Ick! That looks like a pretty neat pool. Maybe we will have to upgrade in a few years.
The boys have grown, I think! Was it Biniam that wasn't gaining as quickly? How are they now? They look so healthy and happy (as do sis, mom, and dad, of course!)
Fun pictures!
I was just checking out your blog. It is so inspirational. I love reading about your experience adopting. I have 7 children, biological, but would love to someday adopt. You are so lucky to have twins. I hope someday I am as lucky as you. What a beautiful family and awesome kids. My sister is in the process of adopting from China and should have a new family memeber by this time next year.
Rachel, after attempting to use the standard, white, THICK sunscreen on our boys, we had to find a different alternative because it does not blend into their darker skin (especially Yosef's.) Nutrogena makes a WONDERFUL sunscreen, I believe it's SPF 40 and it's called Sheer or something like that. It's pricy, but it rubs in soooooooo much easier and isn't as greasy.
thebus4us, yes the boys have definitely grown! Lately I think Biniam (he was the one that was too thin and is pictured with me) has put on some more weight. He's still EXTREMELY small but he's put on so much muscle tone since he's gotten here. We are so grateful!
Christina, thank you for the kind words. I checked out your blog today. I'm wishing I lived in Hawaii too!
