Wanted: makeover

Lately I feel like I need some sort of a makeover. Not sure why, just feeling all around frumpy and boring. (This COULD have something to do with the fact that I'm horribly behind on laundry and therefore my clothing options are somewhat limited. Maybe.) I'd thought I'd try growing my hair out a little, but as always happens when I attempt to do that...it looks awful while it's growing out and I wear it in a ponytail all the time. Not to mention it's so thick and wavy that I always conclude I have no business having medium-to-long length hair anyway. And then I cut it. Which begs the question of why did I grow it out in the first place?!

What a strange post. But I guess that's blogging, giving the masses a peek into your peculiar, semi-to-non-functional brain! :) Happy Wednesday!

you didn't give us a picture of yourself. how can we make any suggestions without one? oh wait, i just re-read and you weren't really looking for any suggestions. i bet you look great--because i've never seen you looking anything but. but, i know the feeling of frumpy and boring. maybe go get a new, cheap shirt or skirt for spring? that can help.

This is so funny and so true. I cut my hair because I was inspired by how cute all of you with the short do looked. But I have no business having short hair. I think we're hair opposites, but the same in wanting what we can't have!

BTW you are adorable and never take a bad picture. So photogenic!

I've been wanting to change my hair too, but I have a hard hair cut to change. Thankfully??? The girl who cut it last didn't listen, so I think I can let it grow for awhile without issue and see where it takes me.

yeah rachel i do feel like a-line hair cuts are a pain to grow out. which is what mine was and has been for the past couple years. i'm getting really close to just going and having it cut again.

Ugh, I need a haircut too. It's at that in between stage where it's not quite long, but it's not short either...so it just looks scraggly...but I keep waffling on cutting it short again...I like the way it looks, but you can't just throw it back into a ponytail and with two little ones on the way, I'm thinking that might be an important feature.
