Aspirations

Biniam: Mommy, when I grow up, I'm going to go tell people about Jesus! I'll tell them that He loves them and that they should believe in Him, and that He's God.

Me: Biniam, that's wonderful! There are some people who go all over the world and help people, and tell them about Jesus. They're called missionaries.

Biniam: Yeah! That's what I'm going to do!

And...
Wait for it...

Yosef: Well I'M going to be a mailman when I grow up.

What sweet guys! Love that conversation! I don't know how the mailmen are in CO, but here in VA they even deliver mail during the blizzards. Seriously hardcore dudes who almost always are wearing shorts. Shorts in the snow! Crazy!

Paige heehee! Yosef actually tries to wear shorts in the snow, so it sounds like a perfect fit for him!!! :)

LOL, so funny! Thanks for sharing! :)

I also really loved your posts about marriage and your relationship with your husband. You are blessed indeed!

Well, both are very vital jobs, and it's good to work with our strengths. This is so sweet. I loved your post on Anna and Mary too.

cute!!

so, i'm not a huge fan of "lol" but use it on occasion because there's nothing else to use. but what i'd like to know is, what's the texting abbreviation for "made me chuckle". mmc? maybe i'll use that from now on and no one will know what i'm saying, except for you of course because i just told you! (i sure hope it actually doesn't stand for anything bad!)

Kristen HA! There are so many texting abbreviations I wouldn't be surprised if it means something obscene, heehee. That would actually be pretty awesome...somehow it must all go back to Oceano...
