Becoming Jane
The Kingdom
Fracture
Who doesn't love Jane Austen?! I LOVED this movie, loosely based on her life--and the beautiful scenery totally made me want to move to England. (Now if I can just convince Kevin...)
The Kingdom was great (though I thought Jennifer Garner's character was really cheesy). I thought the ending was pretty powerful.
Fracture was full of suspense. Anthony Hopkins is great!
How about you--seen any good movies lately?

Someone told me they walked out of the Kingdom. Was it graffic?
We JUST saw Fracture. It was great. I can't thinkof any recent great finds that I simply loved, but Lisence to Wed was fairly cute.
She forgot the best one! We also saw the Bourne Ultimatum. Perhaps it's because she fell asleep halfway through...
Try watching the TV show "The Unit." Start with renting season one on netflix or blockbuster; it is a great TV series!
The Kingdom took place in Saudi Arabia and had to do with unrest in the Middle East, and terrorism. It WAS violent, as you can imagine.
I thought it did a great job of portraying the sad reality that we are fighting other human beings, and they us. I liked how it put a human face on the very people the FBI was fighting, and showed the sadness and futility that marks so much of war.
i loved becoming jane, too. so good. and fracture was good, too. but i haven't seen or heard of the kingdom. i'll have to put it on my netflix queue.
I haven't seen any of those!
We got to see 'August Rush' in the theater not too long ago. It's one of my favorite movies now. So unique and beautiful.
We also got 'Knocked Up' from netflix a couple days ago. It was REALLY crude, but there were some seriously funny parts. =)
I just saw Becoming Jane. I cried. A lot.
NO! we've been watching a stack lame of academy screeners . I couldn't finish "Across the universe" it was so boring. "Juno" was shocking (not a good movie for those with delicate sensibilities) but a truly great movie especially if you like Jennifer Garner. Michael Clayton was o.k. .. geez I guess we've been watching a lot of movies lately.
man i havent seen (or heard!) of those. we are way behind.
LOVED Becoming Jane! I was an English Lit major, so I've always adored her. I thought Fracture was fantastic. I didn't see The Kingdom, but I heard it was kind of a snore... I just watched "Elizabeth: The Golden Age" and thought it was great!
