I need me one of these

My friend Shana just posted recently about her beloved Scooba, Rosie. I went to the website. I watched the demo video. And I am in love.

Does anyone else have one? Is it too good to be true? I could watch the demo for hours. The way Scooba picks up that dirt really makes me happy.

We have a lot of hardwoods in our home. Love them, but HATE mopping. So, truth be told, I don't do it as often as I should. But Scooba would do it. It's what Scooba does. Scooba likes to mop.

Sure it's not cheap, but really it's about the same as what our vacuum cost. And I have to manually operate the vaccum.

Anyway, go to the site and watch the video. I think I'm going to watch it again. Because I'm hooked. And I don't know how I can possibly live the rest of my life without this amazing, beautiful robot.

Tee hee! I have friends who love the Roomba - this looks like it works on the same principle.

Thank you for reminding me just how long "mopping" has been on my to do list! (too, too long...)

You could also get a dog...although dogs don't do much in the way of dust...just food. :)

I have aworking mom friend who has one, but with 5 kids you are totally a working mom too, she loves it. But I did notice a lot of pet hair around the base boards, but you don't have pets. Maybe you can register for one and we could all ship in to get you one instead of baby stuff!

so cool. if they come up with a all natural/non chemical solution for it, i want that and the vacuum version.

kristen, you can actually just use water and vinegar. you don't have to use their clorox solution. (look at you being green btw!!! :) )

Hee hee. I'm glad I'm not the only one who obsessed over this before actually getting it! :)

Seriously, it has changed my life. I don't know why, but for some reason not having to mop seems to have made my ENTIRE work load much more manageable.

We use the vinegar/water solution most often, then maybe a couple times a month use the clorox solution, which I think probably leaves a slight residue behind, but feels amazingly clean and "soft" when walking on it.

I hope you get one!

LOVE IT, I have have always drooled over the roomba, now I will drool of the Scooba too! Right now, we just use the dog, like Jeannett said. Second the motion on registering for it instead of baby stuff, you'll need all your hands when the baby comes, right?! Its practical!

if the laundry robot will also put the laundry away...i am THERE. at any cost. i too will die a happy woman!!!

now my concern about the scooba is, does it really work as well as one hopes it does???

oh...i'm with you J & B...
i want it. and, the laundry fairy, too, please.
i'm trying to train the little people... ask me how that's going...

haha angela, yeah the little people in my house aren't able to adequately mop or sweep yet. is it unethical dip into their savings to buy the scooba????

Ok, just to weigh in here again (as Rosie works away in the background). YES, it works as good as they say. For example, a day after she does her thing I can wipe up a little mess with a paper towel and it comes up WHITE. Not brown how it used to. :(

Too bad your kids aren't already old enough to do the mopping. Our Biniam was ready to pay for it with his own money!!!

Shana that is so good to hear!!! Which model do you have???
