Last Saturday the weather was beautiful so we met my mom and dad at the beach--the boys' very first time!!! All the kids loved it--Anna is finally over her fear of the water and waves and now loves wading into the ocean, and with each wave saying "Here comes the wave!"
Yosef loved both the water and digging in the sand, while Biniam was afraid of the water but really enjoyed the digging. The kids had a great time, and it sure felt good to be back in the sun at the beach again! Here are some pictures of our afternoon:

Hey, where can I get a pair of them sand shorts Kev has? Do you think they sell them here so far from the beach? :)
cute pictures. I miss the beach, but not the overcrowded OC beaches, but I miss San Onofre, in San Diego County, where I camped each year with the fam.
It looks like you guys had a great time! I grew up in San Diego and miss the beach. :-(
Well Mike the sand shorts are probably only found AT the beach (though I can assure you he has boardshorts on underneath!)
I've never camped at the beach but that sounds so fun! I really do like the beach, I think we'll hopefully go a bit more this summer than last, now that Anna isn't scared.
We have high hopes of going camping this summer with Aubrey for a few days. It may be disastorous since she still takes two naps. We will see.
