Okay, so I got home from taking Yosef to another evaluation this afternoon (and a trip to Wal Mart), and this is what I found:
3 napping kids
spotless dining room table
sparkling and shiny fridge and dishwasher (they'd been all icky from delivery)
computer all set up in its new spot
chili cooking in the crockpot (which I was supposed to have turned on earlier but forgot)
last night's episode of the office (that we missed) cued up on the computer
Um...I have the best husband EVER! Wow! What a blessing. Really. He works hard all day, comes home and, well, keeps working. And all this after being up late modifying and installing our beautiful new dishwasher.
Now I'm off to go spend some much-needed time with him, watching the presidential debate (we recorded it.) Can't wait!

Hey, how are yosef's evaluations going?
Wow, I'm glad to know modification is the name of the game when it comes to kitchen install. What was yours? Ours was the too-large washer on the faucet keeping the long-awaited for sink from being properly in place.
Kevin is great. His birthday post to you was a good glimpse into the kind of hubby you have. Very creative and supportive.
rachel i'll have to do a post about them. but in a nutshell they think he's a genius, but possibly colorblind. :)
oh joanie good to know we're not the only ones tweaking with our appliances!!! our dishwasher was too tall for the opening--but just the back plastic part of it (that doesn't show when it's installed). so kevin used a very small electric saw thingy to actually saw off some of the plastic...and it worked great!!!
also our fridge was pretty wide for the space so the delivery man refused to push it all the way in (didn't want to be liable for the sides getting scuffed up.) so kevin and i had to get creative but we managed to do it ourselves. and it works!
Random question for you...is your name pronounced, Bree-anna or, Bree-awna (like the "a" sound in the word awning.) I've been reading your blog for awhile and just realized i didn't know quite how to say your name!
I would enjoy reading a post on the evaluations, as well. :)
Hi Sarah! It's pronounced "Bree-awna". People have mispronounced it my whole life, so I never correct them when they're wrong! :)
Kev-
You rock. Thanks for lovin' your wifey. She rocks, too.
Love,
Angela

Hi Brianna,
I know your husband is great. I used to work with him on math problems in college.
I'm amazed I found you guys' blog since I have on occasion been trying to find Kevin in Goleta because that's where I last heard about him.
Anyways, enough about me going on about myself. It looks like you guys are doing great and I'm happy for you guys. Your kids look so cute and loveable. They seem to have adopted both of you guys' beautiful smiles.
Tell Kevin I said "hi" and I missed all those debates we used to have about everything in our more innocent years at Cal Poly.
Best Wishes,
Sean
